Application

1. Salicylic acid is a kind of hormone, which can regulate the growth and development of plants, photosynthesis, transpiration and ion absorption and transport of plants. Salicylic acid can also induce plant cell differentiation and chloroplast formation.
2. Salicylic acid also participates in plant resistance to pathogens as an endogenous signal, by inducing tissues to produce disease-course related proteins, and when one part of the plant is infected by pathogens, resistance occurs in other parts. This signal can also be transmitted between different plants by forming the volatile methyl salicylate.
3. Stable at room temperature. Rapid heating decomposes into carbon dioxide. It has partial acid commonality.

Storage method
1. It should be stored in a cool, ventilated and dry warehouse, away from fire and heat sources, and stored separately from explosive products and oxidants.
2. The packing shall be lined with plastic bags, outer sacks or polypropylene woven bags or fiberboard drums.
3. Isolation from explosives and oxidants. Store away from light.
