Sophorolipid
Sophorolipid is natural glycolipid biosurfactant produced by yeast fermentation, specially developed for crop-protection pesticides and foliar fertilizers. Different from conventional chemical adjuvants, it is eco-friendly with low residual risk. It can be used for tank-mix spraying or incorporated inside pesticide formulations. It greatly reduces spray-liquid surface tension, improves droplet spreading, adhesion and penetration on waxy leaf surface, reduces liquid run-off and enhances utilization efficiency of agrochemicals & fertilizers. It also shows moderate antifungal activity against certain plant pathogenic fungi, suitable for green agriculture & organic farming applications.
