Product Description

Allicin is an organosulfur compound obtained from garlic, a species in the family Alliaceae. It is part of a defense mechanism against attacks by pests on the garlic plant.Allicin is an oily, slightly yellow liquid that gives garlic its unique odor. It is a thioester of sulfenic acid and is also known as allyl thiosulfinate. Its biological activity can be attributed to both its antioxidant activity and its reaction with thiol-containing proteins.

Used in agriculture as insecticides, fungicides, also used in feed, food, medicine. As a feed additive, it has the following functions:

(1) Add allicin in the feed of chicken or turtle, can make the fragrance of chicken, turtle becomes thicker;

(2) Increase the survival rate of animals;

(3) Work up an appetite;

(4) Improve palatability of feed;

(5) Improve production performance;

(6) Antibacterial action;

(7) Detoxification care;

(8) Mildew insect repellent;

(9) Improve meat quality;

(10) It has special effect on the treatment of rotten gills, red skin, enteritis, bleeding and other diseases caused by various kinds of infection in fish, shrimp and turtle;
