[药理]磺胺甲氧吡啶钠是一种磺胺类抗球虫药，主要用于球虫病爆发时的短期应用。
家禽sulfamethoxylpyrazine有家禽coccidioquinoxoline相似的特点，并具有较强的抗菌作用，并能前夕 ñ治疗家禽霍乱 和鸡伤寒，所以它是最适合于球虫病爆发的治疗。
1升水包含0.3克磺胺氯吡嗪一水合物（或30％磺胺氯吡嗪一水合物可溶性粉1克）家畜饮料，持续三天
兔球虫病：饲料1000kg，连续补充磺胺氯吡嗪一水合物600g，持续5〜10天。
羊球虫病：体重1kg，连续3〜5天口服1.2ml 3％溶液。
