What Are the Consequences of Excessive Use of Carbendazim?

Carbendazim, also known as Mianweiling, is low toxic to humans and animals. 25% and 50% Carbendazim wettable powder and 40% Carbendazim suspension are commonly used in orchards. The following describes the role and use of Carbendazim, the precautions for using Carbendazim, and the consequences of excessive use of Carbendazim.

Carbendazim is a broad-spectrum fungicide, which can be absorbed by plant seeds, roots and leaves, and can be transported in plant tissues. It has a preventive and therapeutic effect.50% Carbendazim 800~1000 times liquid can prevent and cure Anthrax, spot disease, pulp rot and other fungal diseases on jujube trees.

Carbendazim can be mixed with general bactericides, but it should be mixed with pesticides and acaricides whenever it is used, and it should be noted that it cannot be mixed with strong alkaline agents and copper containing agents.Continuous use of Carbendazim is likely to cause drug resistance of pathogenic bacteria, so it should be used alternatively or mixed with other agents.

Excessive use of Carbendazim will form stiff seedlings, and when the concentration of irrigation root is too high, it is easy to cause root burning, or even directly lead to plant death.

Target Crops:

  1. To prevent and control melon Powdery mildew, phytophthora, tomato early blight, legume Anthrax, phytophthora, rape sclerotinia, use 100-200g 50% wettable powder per mu, add water to spray spray, spray twice at the initial stage of the disease, with an interval of 5-7 days.
  2. It has a certain effect on controlling peanut growth.
  3. To prevent and control tomato wilt disease, seed dressing should be carried out at a rate of 0.3-0.5% of the seed weight; To prevent and control bean wilt disease, mix seeds at 0.5% of the weight of the seeds, or soak the seeds with 60-120 times the medicinal solution for 12-24 hours.
  4. To control damping off and Damping off of vegetable seedlings, 1 50% wettable powder shall be used and 1000 to 1500 parts of semi dry fine soil shall be mixed evenly. When sowing, sprinkle the medicinal soil into the sowing ditch and cover it with soil, with 10-15 kilograms of medicinal soil per square meter.
  5. To prevent and control cucumber and tomato wilt and eggplant verticillium wilt, 50% wettable powder is used to irrigate the roots 500 times, with 0.3-0.5 kilograms per plant. The heavily affected plots are irrigated twice every 10 days.

Precautions:

  1. Discontinue use 5 days before vegetable harvest. This agent cannot be mixed with strong alkaline or copper containing agents, and should be used interchangeably with other agents.
  2. Do not use Carbendazim alone for a long time, nor use it in rotation with thiophanate, benomyl, thiophanate methyl and other similar agents. In areas where Carbendazim resistance occurs, the method of increasing the dosage per unit area cannot be used and should be resolutely stopped.
  3. It is mixed with sulfur, mixed amino acid copper, zinc, manganese, magnesium, mancozeb, mancozeb, Thiram, thiram, Pentachloronitrobenzene, Junhejing, bromothecin, ethamcarb, jinggangmycin, etc; It can be mixed with sodium disulfonate, mancozeb, Chlorothalonil, Wuyi bacteriocin, etc.
  4. Store in a cool and dry place.
