The commercial product is a mixture of stereoisomers.It is commonly used as an insecticide, and affects the insect’s nervous system. It can be found in many Household Insecticide products.The empirical formula is C19H25NO4; molecular weight is 331.4. Its form is a colorless crystal; its specific gravity is 1.1 at 20°C; its vapor pressure is 0.944 mPa at 30°C; log Kow = 4.6. It is less soluble (1.83 mg/l) in water at 25°C, but it is soluble in most organic solvents. It is unstable in strong acid and alkaline medium.
