Rapid onset Insecticide material D-allethrin is used alonely or combined with synergists(e. G. Fenitrothion). It is also available in form of emulsifiable concen wettable, powders, synergistic formulations(aerosols ordips) have been used on fruits and vegetables, post-harvest, in storage, and in processing plants. It is mainly used for cockroach killer pest control.D-allethrin is used mainly for the control of flies and mosquitoes in the home, flying and crawing insects on farm, animals, and fleas and ticks on dogs and cats. It is formulated as Aerosol, sprays, dusts, smoke coils and mats. Post-harvest use on stored grain(surface treatment)has also been approved in some countries.

Application: It has high V.p and swift knockdown activity to mosquitoes and flies. It can be formulated into coils, mats, sprays and aerosols.

Proposed Dosage: In coil,0.25%-0.35% content formulated with certain amount of synergistic agent ;in electro-thermal mosquito mat, 40% content formulated with proper solvent,propellant, developer, antioxidant and aromatizer; in aerosol preparation,0.1%-0.2% content formulated with lethal agent and synergistic agent.
