Common pyrethroid insecticides include Cypermethrin, Deltamethrin, cyfluthrin, and cypermethrin, etc.
Cypermethrin: Mainly used for the control of chewing and sucking mouthparts pests as well as various leaf mites.
Deltamethrin: It is mainly used to control pests of Lepidoptera and homoptera, and also has certain effects on pests of Orthoptera, Diptera, hemiptera and Coleoptera.
Cyanothrin: It is mainly used to control lepidoptera pests, and it also has a good effect on homoptera, hemiptera and diptera pests.
What should be noted when spraying insecticides
1. When using pesticides to control crop pests, it is necessary to select the appropriate pesticides and apply them at the right time. Based on the climatic characteristics and the diurnal activity patterns of pests, pesticides should be applied at favorable times. It is advisable to apply pesticides between 9 and 10 a.m. and after 4 p.m.
2. After 9 a.m., the dew on the crop leaves has dried up, and it is also the time when sunrise pests are highly active. Applying pesticides at this time will not affect the control effect due to the dilution of the pesticide solution by dew, nor will it allow pests to come into direct contact with the pesticide, increasing the chance of pest poisoning.
3. After 4 p.m., the light weakens and it is the time when flying and nocturnal pests are about to come out. Applying pesticides at this time can allow the pesticides to be applied to the crops in advance. When the pests come out to be active or feed at dusk and night, they will come into contact with the venom or be poisoned by feeding and die. At the same time, it can also prevent the evaporation loss and photodecomposition failure of the pesticide solution.
4. Different pesticides and application methods should be selected based on the damaged parts of the pests, and the pesticides should be delivered to the right place. For pests that harm the roots, apply the pesticide to the roots or into the sowing ditches. For pests that feed on the underside of the leaves, spray the liquid medicine on the underside of the leaves.
5. To control red bollworms and cotton bollworms, apply the medicine to the flower buds, green bells and the tips of the clusters. To prevent 螟虫 and cause dead seedlings, sprinkle toxic soil; To prevent and control white panicles, spray or pour water. To control rice planthoppers and rice leafhoppers, spray the liquid medicine to the base of the rice plants. To control the diamondback moth, spray the liquid medicine onto the flower buds and young pods.
6. In addition, for hidden pests such as cotton aphids, red spiders, rice planthoppers, and rice leafhoppers, based on their sucking and piercing mouthparts feeding method, strong systemic insecticides can be selected. After absorption, they can be transmitted to other parts of the plant to achieve the purpose of delivering the pesticide to the right place.
